EMW - the whole horse world should be grateful to EMW for highlighting the bad auctions, and working to improve conditions for horses at saleyards - let's face it, for some poor souls it is their last outing.
Some nice publicity coming through for this initiative - an excellent article in the Hereford Times last week. And the total donated - so far £1,347.50 - is boosted by Gidt aid reclaimed - so far £324.36 - boosts the total to over £1,600.
Thank you all so much, this appeal will remain open for donations for a while yet - it has exceeded our wildest hopes and is still gaining funds.
For the non-musical enthusiasts, EMW also have a superb calendar for 2008, makes a great Christmas present for only £5-75 (inc. postage) and special christmas charity sponsor packs ( 6 and 12 month options) - a horsey present for those who are hard to buy for!
details as always by e-mail emw@equinemarketwatch.org.uk
