Can anyone recommend a good equine osteopath in/ around the West Midlands area... Im based in Worcester.

I normally use Tex Gamble but im unable (to my dismay) to get my horse to him so need someone who is just as fab as him.. any suggestions ????

thanks

Liz Launder is very good, not used her personally but many people i know. Shes in Corse Lawn in Gloucestershire, im not sure how far she travels but afaik shes the best in the area from what ive heard

Joules - you may know already - I use Jonathon Gibbons (chiropractor) from Malvern and also Rachel North (bowen therapy) both very good and come out quick, if you want either number text me!!!

Liz Launder is very good - she fixed Noddy - and also hear good things about Astwood although they are a bit pricey. Did you not win a voucher for them @ Allenshill in the summer?

Thanks, I looked at Astwood (as Jo says got a voucher last summer) but on their website it says you need written permission from your vet.. is this true BQ ?

Yeah there is Liz, I know her daughters fairly well, so might give her a call.....

ok Jo cool, will give you a text later !! Like I say i usually use Tex in Wiltshire but trying to get my Dad to take me there is a nightmare !!

I use Astwood and would recommend them, explains the problems clearly and in a way you can understand, unlike some I have used!! I didn't get a vet referral for mine, just called up and booked in.

You legally have to have a referral from a vet though.......!

And bounty that's incredibly rude....considering she goes all over the world is honest and straight to the point and works with some of the biggest names your post is obscene

Had some great work done on my boy by Bruce Hewett. He's based in North Wales but travels all over - human osteo as well. Google him.

I use Andrea Pole (she does the Royal Mews horses and has just been selected by one of the USA olympic teams I believe!) and would highly recommend her - very approachable and has helped massively with various horses for me. I have used Jonothan Gibbins but didnt really rate him tbh. Have heard great things about Harriet Soper as well.

Why is that rude? Her personal opinion as that she wouldnt want her treating her horse.

Try Gloria Leverett, works with lots of top level horses. I always had a good result from her work. :D
