Can anyone recommend a good equine osteopath in/ around the West Midlands area... Im based in Worcester.

I normally use Tex Gamble but im unable (to my dismay) to get my horse to him so need someone who is just as fab as him.. any suggestions ????

I know there is a new place just opened in Astwood Bank - has anyone used these??

Thanks..

yes, have used Astwood several times after my mare had a fall in the field and vets recommened osteo treatment to sort lameness.
She was sound after the first treatment and much better after the second.

I've used them as I won a free voucher to the tune of £55 which was one treatments worth. Very good or so it appeared. i used to use Mc Timoney chiropractors until they were unable to diagnose late onset wobblers on my horse.

Yeah I have a voucher to use too... did you need to get permission from your vet first - only thats what it says on their website ?!

thanks guys

well i should put myself on the list really but worcesters a bit far from me, however i do have a good colleague who lives near so if you need an alternative her names Claire Wall google her for contact details. oh and yes you need the vet to refer/ approve the treatment first if the horse has a med problem.

Andrew at Astwoods came out last week for one of mine, he was thorough and informative and I was impressed. She has improved somewhat, and he's booked to return this week. Only problem is, I've got him looking at two, the original one, and can't decide which one to get him to check over next! They can check over a horse without a specific problem, and keep them on the straight and narrow so to speak.
