Equine Photographers

Hi all,

I'm looking for more creative kinds of equine photographers, not the types of photos you buy at shows, but those who create an artistic photo, such as Astrid Harrison. More kind of portrait photographers!

Google is particularly unhelpful on this subject, as googling 'creative equine photographers' brings up very little!

So if anyone here has any recommendations, or photographers or photos they've seen i'd love to see them!

Sarah Farnsworth. She is truly fantastic and a lovely person too.! She does a lot of commissions for horse and hound but also does weddings and other equine related and country stuff. She has a wonderful eye for a shot and seems to capture emotions at just the precise moment. She also has a fantastic sense of humour which often can be seen in her work. She really is so talented. I am sure that if you email her she would maybe offer some advise like I said she is ever so nice and only in her mid twenties so probably still remembers what it was like producing exam pieces. When I did photography it was just before digital and we still processed in dark rooms!

I have done! I still use darkroom, although digital gives so many more options, I do love the film side of things, hoping to use it more this time!
