Hi All,
I am looking at training in Equine Pilates and Biomechanics having developed a really keen interest when my own biomechanical issues started affecting the way my own horses were going. I was actually amazed to discover how much my way of going was effecting my horses. I have had biomechanics session in the past and found them to be really valuable, my only issue being that once a weakness (ie slouching through the left side or twisting through the hip) has been identified there was no ability to take that to the next level and improve those weaknesses though exercise . I would have found it really useful to them be able to work with some one to help me work on the weaknesses identified though the biomechanics session. I was wondering how many of you would attend a rider focused Pilates class or if you would seek biomechanical assistance to help improve the effectiveness of your riding and position? I would be based in the South West.
I would welcome any thoughts
