Has anyone tried this product??

Zest
Would be interested to hear as I can't see why vitamins would specifically make a difference to energy levels (unless they were severely lacking of course, but then they couldn't market it as an energiser on the assumption that no one feeds enough vits?!)

Thanks

Purely personal take on the squillions of supplements you can buy for neds.

Any GP will tell you people who have a good balanced diet don't need to take expensive supplements unless they have a specific medical condition that requires it. At best you get very expensive pee, at worst you can actually harm yourself by o/d-ing on some stuff. Ditto for horses, ask any vet (any vet NOT with shares in a supplement company lol).

If you want "zest" in a healthy horse, feed him properly on a diet with tons of fibre, plenty of turnout, plenty of company, plenty of exercise, right amount of work and plenty of love. Save your money. Many, many, many of these "supplements" are clever marketing ploys, aimed at separating hard working owners from their cash x

couldn't agree more, fibre, 24/7 turn out if posible, companionship lots of interesting excersize and your horse wont require any of these supplements unless he has some sort of condition. My theory is that all that most of these supplements go right through the horse anyway.

I'll take that as a no then!!!!! lol
Horse has all the above - she is just naturally very very laid back.....despite excellent diet, lots of turnout, variety in workload etc.
