Also got the foundation stallions wrong, and the teeth...

You made it up!? Really? Good on you. I suppose for most things like this, you need to open up any good horse book and look at any random breed...questions on the barb would be good!

I will look up his other books too.

No it was a man, very much of the old school, can't remember the name, because it was a long time ago and I am so much older now. Was in the era of bran mash after hard work etc. It was the skin diseases that made me think it could be that one, as the only one I've seen them in.
