This is wonderful equine science blog, for anyone interested.
Also, if you read the trivia question at the end, how many people here knew the answer? I've been around horses for years, and haven't a clue (I had to peek on the answer page)!

I knew this!!! Yay... This used to be a standard question in all those quizzes you used to get in pony magazines, and particlarly the Annuals that used to come out at Christmas. "8 true, 10 false" became a sort of mantra

Am I right in thinking that Arabs have one fewer pair of ribs than other breeds?
