Can anyone recommend any good ones?? Preferably within the East Mids/West Mids/Lincs area....
Had a look at the ICAT ones, but they are in Devon and its just too far for me to keep going down for 3 day lectures...

Hi. I qualified through ICAT a year or so ago and live in Lincolnshire. Yes it can be a pain travelling down to Devon, but to be truthful, the other comprehensive training course offered is in Somerset so not much better. Far better to do the full qualification than a short course which won't really equip you fully even if you can find one locally. If you do the full Diploma, you travel down 4 times and the courses usually run into a weekend so not too much time off work. Its a lovely part of the country as well. Check out the member association as well -The Association of Complementary Animal Therapies (www.theacat.co.uk). As Equine Secretary for ACAT I am helping to organise a three day course in Cambs in conjunction with Jim Masterson from the USA so check that out to give you a taster (see the CPD calendar section of the website).
