Equine Touch Vs. McTimoney

Heya,

I'm thinking about getting an equine touch practitioner to treat my horse. Just wondering what users have thought of this? Has it worked? I've used a McTimoney practitioner in the past but heard good things about Equine Touch. Which one do you think is better?

Also, what's the average cost of a session? I've heard its about £75???

p.s. My horse has frequent back/sore muscle/stiffness problems, if this helps with advice

Equine touch is just muscular, it doesn't address the skeletal system, it's also non diagnostic. That said, the horse seem to love it, and I think it really does help with muscular stiffness. £75 sounds a lot to me

I use a mc timoney practitioner regulary and she excellent; she also does a lot of soft tissue work though, so address both skeletal issues as well as tight muscles etc.

My Mctimoney chiorpractor also is an Equine Touch Instructor. When she comes to me she uses both as they work very well together.

I'm currently studying Equine Touch!, I've found it really effective on my horses. Where we are its £35 a session.

As Foo said, it compliments Mc Timoney well.

i use a Mctimoney chiropractor who has sorted out every issue my horses have had with their backs and hips etc i would certainly recommend them
my lady costs £45 and i know another who costs £35 but i pay the extra because i know she is good and i know she fits me in quickly when i need a visit and i know she wont rip me off by saying she needs to come back out in 2weeks etc unless very necessary.... not saying the other one does any of this just that i know mine wont

Equine touch is not just "muscular" it addresess the horse as a whole.

Quick question for you.

What moves the bones?




Yep........ muscles via tendons.........
