Urm I have seen it done and personally not impressed. Some people may be better but this woman was completley bonkers, talked rubbish and there was absolutely no change in the horse despite her repeating "did you see that??!!!!"....no i never saw anything!
I am rather sceptic of this type of thing (even though training to be physio
) but having seen the change in a pony's character I am slowly coming round to it - I even had my boy done yesterday!
The pony was a total grump, starting stopping when jumping and would try to bite you as you walked past, ears flat back.
After 2 sessions with person, He is now a reformed character - we were told he lost his confidence jumping and dosent like jumping big anymore,so is now very happy jumping max 3f. He dosent bite you anymore and now stands head over stable very relaxed and ears forward - very much the happy chappy!
I wasted about 2 hours and about £50 on this - absolute waste - proper physio was called out and problem found and cured within 10 minutes. Some people may have had better experiences - but the one i used didnt have the foggiest and i wish she could have just told me that rather than tits about for 2 hours with my horse.

It all boils down the person on the end of the hands!
The same in your trade - some good ,some bad, but I wouldnt tar you all with the same brush!
A lady on my yard is studying this and I have said that she can practice on my horse. I think he does feel more relaxed and free afterwards. I don't think it is going to cure any major problems and I certainly wouldnt pay £50 for it - thats what my physio charges. I actually feel more relaxed afterwards too just watching!
My friend who is a chiropractor and sports massage therapist teaches ET and have had fab results when she did my horses. I have completed Level 1 and use it most weeks on mine.
