Need to get a horse vetted in Bells Yew Green - jolly expensive for my vet to visit, any recommendations? I would add that the horse is lovely but has previously had significant bone injury...

I would use one of the senior vets from Bell Equine in Mereworth (Caron, Tim, David, Julian, Rob) don't get one of the newly qualified vets.

Good Luck!

Priors Farm Veterinary practice in Forest Row, Ben, Duncan, Alison and James all really brilliant!

Tim Mair at Bell Equine is brilliant, never had a vetting done by Tim but he has treated several of my horses and has always got the right diagnosis and treatment for my horses, ligament problems, lameness diagnosis and also colic surgery! http://www.bellequine.co.uk/practice-vets.php

Tony Warr is based at Putlands Vets in Paddock Wood. He events to Advanced level (has been round Badminton a couple of times I think) so might be another one to try. http://www.putlandsvets.com/horse-and-farm.aspx

Or Goudhurst Vets, I use Claire Devitt for all my routine visits and she's been out several times for colic for one of my horses! http://www.goudhurstvets.co.uk/staff/content.php?Content=Equine&Id=68

I agree, Bell Equine (had bad experience with my horse being vetted at Putlands - not sure if I'm allowed to say that!) Only problem is alot of the senior vets at Bell are in the operating threatre doing surgery most of the time now, but if you can get him, David Sinclair is fabulous and a more experienced junior vet who I think is not bad is Jane.

Hope the vetting goes well.
