Could anyone please recommend me a really good one? I prefer practices who send the same vet to you most times rather than a different vet every time (so that you end up knowing more than the vet themselves!).

Depends which side of Oxford you are. If you're Bicester side and it's not too far away, I can recommend Buckingham Equine Vets -they ahve done 2 vettings for me recently and they were great.
