I have heard that Oakham have recently let 2 equine vets go & not employed a new vet that was supposed to start in the New Year.

One of the equine vets from Oakham is now at Town and Country practice in Market Harborough

I am in Nottingham and a lot of local practices refer to Oakham. My friends horse was treated at Oakham last year and they were fabulous, and they have all the latest equipment, MRI scanner etc. The vet who treated her horse was called Ben and he was marvellous, cant rate him highly enough, that is my personal experience, though, of course.

Another vote for Oakham; My pony was operated on there a year last October when everyone else had given up on him; he is now sound , the fittest he's ever been and loving life! Highly reccommended

I did know a vet who was at oakham for a short while but they was cutting back and lost his job there but his other half said that they wasn't taking on any new clients at the time but i have heard good stuff about oakham anyway.
