Has anyone had any dealings with this firm.

I ordered a stock from them a while ago and paid for it through Paypal. I'm trying to get in touch with them to see when it might arrive and am currently being met with a wall of silence. The landline and mobile seem to be disconnected and my emails are not being answered.

I'm wondering if something has happened to the company, but the website is still continuing to except orders.

How long would you expect to wait in normal circumstances

The firm is Equineck, based in Warrington, and they make stock, ties, etc

If you paid on PayPal I think you can pursue them through that to get your money back?

Raise a complaint via paypal and you should get your money back.

not had any experience of them so can't comment (sorry!) but I get all my stocks from a lady in camarthen off ebay, her shop is called The Riding Stock Market, have had about 5 or 6 from her and they're fantastic.

The Riding Stock Market is fabulous , I ordered one from her on Sunday, she posted it on Monday and I received it on Tuesday, and the quality was excellent. I will definitely be ordering some more off her, the trouble is which ones to choose, they are all so gorgeous. I was so pleased with the goods and the service, let her know and would recommend her to anyone

Whilst we are on the subject of stock suppliers, anyone ever used Personalisedgifts4u2 on Ebay. I've ordered one from there as well, but I've had communication with her, so I know its ok

Bear in mind you only have 45 days to start a PayPal dispute - are you within this time?

Equineck appear to have run down all the stock in their ebay shop, the website still has Christmas delivery dates on the homepage and there's no address given for them anywhere. I'm afraid it's not looking good

That's why I have 5 or 6 I have about 3 different ones to go with my hacking jacket and 2 (/3) for my black jacket. Plus i think its nice to have different ones for different days.... makes your competition photos a little different each time

A little off topic, but I recently got a velvet browband in custom colours to match a new stock, from a different seller, and was absolutely over the moon with it - I think i'm getting matchy-matchy-itis now, as I've just got a new show rug to match them too.... next it'll be travel boots, then repainting the horsebox...... LOL

I have bought from Michelle after reading your post. She says thank you for recommending her. Michelle also has new designs being made for this season so keep checking the website.

I had problems last summer with this company, but I thought it was just the way I had put the order in that had caused delays.

So I also spoke to Michelle, got a beautiful ready tied stock for my little girl, made to fit her tiny neck, but with a lot of fullness. It arrived within two days, the customer service is second to none. It is fabulous, quality fabric, beautifully made and a VERY reasonable price.

The Riding Stock Market definitely is the place to shop for stocks. Michelle is lovely, nothing seems to be too much trouble for her, I would recommend her to anyone. Lots of big ticks for TRSM

I’ve had many items from Equineck & always found the lady most helpful, plus there stocks are great & at a very reasonable price.
My last order was slightly late but I gather that’s due to the lady being ill & having on going hospital treatment, so I gather she can’t always answer the phone. Any way she sent a very nice stock pin to me as a goodwill gesture so I’m very happy.
