Equished - internal stables

Evening,

I have had a couple of different quotes though for internal stables; monarch, Loddon, stables online. I have now had a quote through from Equished. Has any one heard of them? Are they reputable? Any thoughts appreciated - feel free to PM if more appropriate

I’ve not heard of Equished, but after going through a similar search at the end of the year we ended up going with Tailored Equine who are fitting our stables in a couple of weeks. Matt has been a pleasure to deal with and happily answered the many, many questions we had when deciding on a new layout for the barn.

My internal stables are IAE. Plastic boards and I would recommend them to anyone.

ALERT: I want to warn others about EQUISHED. After acceptable quote and agreement to fit in 4 weeks (which was the basis I placed order), they wanted a large deposit for some bespoke internal stables. I was so careful, even speaking to one of their clients for a reference and checking them out. However, as soon as money handed over, noticible they had less contact with me. I phoned, emailed and messaged and they did get back to me to tell me stables almost made and they'd fit a week later than contracted. I accepted this but then they went quiet. Finally got hold of them a week later and became apparent they hadnt made stables and had no intention to fit even within a few months. Said they would refund deposit. Still waiting and despite warnings of legal action, they have gone to ground! They have clearly used my money to fund another bigger job! I have since found concerning articles online about the past history of owner Paul J Moses. I do not recommend this company, they will cause you a lot of sleepless nights and heartache!

I’ve just had a large run of stables done by monarch… couldn’t fault them or their customer service and have just placed another order with them…not the cheapest but definitely not the most expensive… and super quality through out

I used Monarch as well very easy and lovely stables .

I did contact them last year..but wasn't impressed that both Monarch and Loddon didn't get back to me very quickly, one was a bit snotty too, and they weren't keen to split down the quote so I could gauge where the main cost was. I gave up in the end. Once I finally get my deposit from the Equished, I have a more local company who I hope will be able to help with the bespoke spec I'm after. I'm fast losing faith with humanity and my trust in people :-(

I have Monarch internal stables with plastic boards and would recommend them to anyone. I also bought six of their external windows and they’re equally well built and reliable. It’s brilliant being able to control ventilation in the building and the horses love hanging their heads out the windows and dropping hay for me to sweep up. I’m never using wood for anything around horses ever again if there is a plastic alternative. I’ve recently ordered recycled PVC arena fencing. It’s pricey enough but then again so is wood post and rail which only looks good for a few months if you’re lucky.

Yes, the new ones I am getting are plastic, I agree, far more hygienic.

I'm having problems with this same company just now, they're an absolute nightmare. Started the barn in May and still not finished.
Very poor quality work and trying to get them to come back and finish it off is stressing me out. They don't turn up and then ignore calls or else give another date and still don't show up. Seems like they're now in liquidation so not sure what's going to happen.
