Anyone any experience of either of these?

good points / bad points?

Also why is there a massive cost difference between the two?

Not too sure. Would be interesting to see what other people say.

I had the equissage demonstrated to me a couple of years ago, it mainly involved moving a hand held machine over the horse's back for 1/2 hour. The machine was heavy, the vibration unpleasant for me (I have tenonditis so maybe that was the problem?) and there was no way I would have time to do this twice a day for each horse. Then came the price    Whatever the difference between the two that price made the equissage totally prohibitive for me.

I bought the equilibrium yesterday - very easy to work, popped it on the horses, R was very relaxed seemed to like it, F was a bit surprised by the sensation, but relaxed into it. Can't say there was a massive difference after one try, but maybe that's asking too much? Price was A LOT more reasonable.

I had a equissage trial a few years ago and my then 16.1hh ISH was very daunted by the size of it and wasn't overly keen. I do have a equilibrium pad which i think is awesome, all my boys like it and it particularly helps my 5 year old who can be a bit funny through his back when first ridden, but never if i use the pad before riding. It's great to break up long winter days in the stable and is easy to use at competitions too. I'd say for the price it's worth every penny! :)
