Love them or hate them, some say they are a waste of money, I bought mine after Saf had a very bad fall and suffered some muscle damage to her right 1/4, vet said at time we would have wastage and initally had feradic (sp) treatment then continued with the equissage, over months the muscle sweating stopped and we have had no wastage. To me she feels better if I use it and she defo likes it and if on low will doze off

Waste of money. There are lots of equine sports massage people that can do a much more unique and better job, working on a larger area than just over a small area of back. My mares problems are normally in her neck... an equssage wouldnt be able to tell me this or help with it! People can alter treatment specifically... a machine cant do a humans job, and a human can prob do it for cheaper!

Apparently if you try sitting one one it will make you feel sick.

Love mine, i have the back pad & Hand unit. Its fab thats all i can say. It has saved my loads of money on Chiro's & Massage people. I still have a Chiro out once a year but so far no problems have been found since using the equissage.

The Hand unit can treat the horse all over so IMO is as good as a massage therepist it's only the pad thats static.
