My vet mentioned this today whilst discussing the lunatic that is Scarlet. Any one heard of it? Used it? Would appreciate any thoughts

I use this on my stress head gelding to help keep his ulcers at bay. Tried most of the magnesium calmers out there but they made no difference so my vets recommended this one as it's L Tryptophan instead. My horse isn't fizzy or sharp so I didn't want anything that made him dopey, just stop him stressing/tension when ridden and on ground and it's made a big difference to him. He was taken off it recently and I hadn't realised how much it had been working! He's back on it now!

Yes I am using some Equaliser now, for a horse who is a nervous traveller
I start the dose a day or two before the journey. its very palatable and easy to use, a powder which mixes in food easily.
The other reason I used it was a horse on box rest, recommended by my vet.
I am a big fan of Equistro products, and order on line.
I have also used Kerabol for hooves, very good.
