Flexadin is brilliant stuff. It is what my vet recommended for my horse when he had cartilage damage in the hock. I got a pot on insurance, but decided it is too expensive to keep up myself, but might go back to it if he needs it. My vet liked it because it has the right amount and type of glucosamine for absorption by the horse and the additional devil's claw makes it good for inflammation and general pain relief.
I can't see the product as the link doesnt work but im presumming it is the Flexadin??
I bought a tub of the Flexadin last year on recommendation, but no-one told me that it has a very strong smell of Vannila, really strong. Not a single horse of mine would eat there feeds with the Flexidin in. Total nightmare as it isnt cheap & i can't tell you if it worked as they wouldnt touch it.
That's what my friends vet told her to use on her very arthritic horse for those reasons. I think it smells lush, but Madam is very fussy so am wondering if she also wouldn't touch it
Yes, devil's claw is ok for BD. Unless you are riding under FEI rules (internationals or international YH classes, or national shows run to FEI spec - young riders, juniors and ponies at Premier Leagues, for example).
I work at a vets and use a lot of their products. My older mare who did her hip in is on Flexadin, she's a welsh d and a piggy so wasn't fussed with the vanilla! My other mare who is a rather stressy cheeky thing is on Betamag forte liquid calmer and Equiliser calmer along with Megabase for her general vit/min supplement,i really rate the products. All the products smell like sweets, the Megbase is like sherbert! My young mare is fussy and eats her feed up fine although the Flexadin is less palatable out of the lot and she's not on that.
I swear by equistro it is amazing stuff!! i give this to my horse which suffers from ulcers caused by stress!!! equistro equilizer i use it works !!! Germany always comes up with the amazing goods in everythingXXX
