Equitex Rug?

I managed to pick up an Equitex rug as a charity shop for £10, and it fits Shy perfectly ? My question is, are they similar to Thermatex rugs, or something completely different? Its polyester and medium thickness. Never been used,but unfortunately in a vile lime green colour ?. Shys Thermatex has been eaten by mice....
