Equitrek Sonic starting problems

Hi, I have a three year old Equitrek sonic built on a peugeot base. The problem is sorted now but it had severe starting problems and we had several visits to the garage before it was rectified. It was under guarantee when the problem started but unfortunately it ran out before it was fixed. I love my little lorry now but wondered if anyone else had had a similar experience.

If the problem existed and was worked on before the guarantee ran out they should still fix it !!! you will be in a better position if you have service history, try the peugeot dealer and if no joy get on to customer services at peugeot...

Thank you for your reply. We have been through these channels. The original repair was free of charge and the lorry was ok for a while as it was more evident in wet weather and we had had a dry spell. When it then failed to start again the guarantee had run out. The symptoms were exactly the same but the garage reckoned it was a new problem. It required a new total engine management system which should have been done in the first place. We had to pay 30%. It's now running perfectly and although it caused a lot of problems initially I wouldn't be without it now.
