Anyone got one? I'm looking to go back to a trailer from lorry, just looking at options, and seen these listed as 2 x 16.2. My bigger boy is 16.3hh but very short backed (6'3 rug) and a good traveller. I'm wondered if he would fit in one of these comfortably? He's been in an ifor 511, and had loads of room in there....
I know the equitreks in general seem to get mixed reviews!

Love mine, went out this morning, dex loads well, travels well and its easy to load on your own. I have the space trekka m and dex is 16h but there is tons of room head and length wise. Just check workmanshhip when buying. I just put saddle in and load and go as everything else lives in front of trailer or tack locker !

Equitrek are loved or hated I think, personally after much debate about buying a trailer I (and my transport manager OH) decided that the build quality was rubbish, that once damaged they would be hard to repair without taking extensive bits off, and if by some awful chance they flipped over then you wouldn't be able to get the horse off via the ramp. I ended up buying a spacious three horse Wessex trailer.

I have the space trekka L
I really lIke it it's easy to tow despite its size my horse is 16.3 and would easily fit in the M but went for L as the price difference wasn't that much and both mine like space highly reccomended

We have a show trekka M and are very pleased with it. It carried my 16 hand arab with ease but I would wonder about a 16.3 to be honest.

Sorry no pics with him in it but loads more room I feel than the Ifor 505 and very light and airy.

he is in a 6ft 6 rug (for size comparison) and really does have tons of room both head and length wise.

Bought mine couple years ago - £3650 second hand but was in very good condition (hardly used) - the tack locker is fab for putting water barrel etc in and I added a window in back door and vent in roof as they can get a bit warm without ventilation. I feel much happier towing on motorways etc with equitrek compared to ifor - horse is totally enclosed and it is very stable giving great ride.

Thanks all
Bobbly - agree re the love vs hate! I think many of the 'problem' ones were the older tri-axle ones, but its a valid point about getting to horses in an accident - however equally if you were rear ended in a trailer with a back ramp the same would apply... My reasoning behind looking to an equitrek is ease of loading the more stubborn one, and also that extra bit of storage/living space as I have a SWB defender and most of the back is generally occupied by my dog!
Thanks all - my 16.3hh is shorter than your 16hh meesha so should be ok I think - he's not got exceptionally high head carriage or anything either.
Will be keeping an eye on them on the second hand market I think.
