Have been looking at my worming programme and always had it drumed into me to use different chemicals at different times. I came across the suggested worming programme from Eqvalan - using Eqvalan and Eqvalan Duo four times per year.

Has anyone or does anyone use this programme?

Yup as my sisters OH works for a big country store chain and had to get qualified in wormers. He looked into it for me and said that the Duo is the bees knees

Have checked and it is a 8 - 10 week wormer, so you will need more than four doses per year.

the only worming programme that you can stay on for a few years with out change witch is safe is equest equest pramox!

kind of depends on the worm challenge that your horses are facing - depends on stuff like picking up droppings etc new horses onto pasture and whether all horses wormed at same time.
Eqvalan and eqv duo are vvv good wormers and they're offering a worm egg count thingy too so you can see if your worming programme is working

Equest and equest pramox do both have the 13 week thing but not for all worms that your horse might face - so you're still best rotating products and not stopping on same one all the time. You can rotate year on year and not each time tho'

The best thing in all cases is to have a chat with your vet about your particular situation and they can then advise which approach/ wormers are best for you.

I worm twice a year (tapeworm/ redworm spring and tapeworm redworm and bots winter) ,pick up all droppings daily if I can and worm egg count twice a year. I rotate my grazing and cut hay from rested field, also have sheep.

Hope this helps
