A question to our Members - would the 2 weeks after an event be enough time for you to give Feedback? We want to make the whole system MUCH slicker and more professional this year, one way to do this would be to allow just 2 weeks accepting Feedback, 1 week for us to collate, summarise and send to Organiser, 1 week for the Response, then publish the Summary and Response 4 weeks after event. (This would mean events that run more than once would receive their feedback summary before their subsequent event.)
We've modified the Feedback Forms too, taking into account Organisers' requests for more specific information, and Members' suggestions. Exciting times, this is having a really positive impact - YOUR opinion counts!
Thoughts please... is 2 weeks enough? Do you usually do your Feedback straight after an event when it's fresh in your mind, or would you prefer to have longer, do you do Feedbacks on a batch of events at a time?
Thankyou.

Hoping that OH might actually get out and about this year I would also say that 2 weeks would be plenty, get it done while everything is fresh in your mind

Do organisers still have the power of veto? ie is there any point in giving negative feedback because last year if an organiser did not giver permission it was not published?

Last year we had promised to wait for permission to publish, and considered ourselves bound by our word... I believe that this year we will not be asking for permission.
The vast majority of organisers were very happy for us to publish, including many whose Feedback Summaries were negative in places.
Many organisers said that they appreciated getting all feedback, good and bad, because it told them the areas they need to work on. So, it is definitely worth giving feedback, and the more constructive it is, the better. If you need to be critical, please try to do it in a helpful rather than a destructive way!
There are lists on ERA website of all published Summaries, and of Events for which we received no Feedback, the 'anomalies' list, and those we are still awaiting permission to publish. Some organisers have been very difficult to contact over the winter, unfortunately. Only a very few have actually denied us permission to publish last year's Summaries.
We have made changes to the Feedback Forms in line with requests and comments from Members as well as Organisers.
One of the major changes is getting rid of the 'overall mark' for the event, which was one of the main things many organisers did not like. (Because the marks came from differing numbers of different people, comparisons between that score for different events were totally invalid, but it is human nature to compare them, so we've done away with them.)
I hope that answers your question.
Thankyou.
Thanks for all responses.
