Just wanting to know peoples opinions on them as considering getting one of their jumping saddles. Only 1 reply in Stable Yard (thanks Martlin! :D) has anyone else got/had one?

I had an ET dressage saddle, it was nicely made with a good wide gullet. Leather was nice and IMHO superior quality to say henri de Rivel

Sold it as my horses shrunk from wide to medium, but it had fabby knee rolls.

Thanks Jen Cots. The one i'm looking at is adjustable gullet. Good that the leathers decent quality too. Have looked at the Henri de Rivel ones but they're quite a bit dearer than the Eric Thomas ones.

I had a close contact jump saddle a few years ago, loved it it was very similar to ride in as the pessoa but didnt fit my horse when she changed shape so had to sell it - i would def buy another :)

I've seen the one you are after, its very nice leather and looks incredibly similar to the pessoa jumping saddle!

My only issue with it is the short girth straps, now used to long ones with dressage girths and don't think I can go back!!

Thanks all. Does anyone know if they're suited more to certain types of horses than others? I know its changable gullet just thinking more the fit of the back panels?

i did......and sold it on again. :( Wasn't the greatest fit and the 17.5" came up small i thought as couldn't shorten my stirrups enough or my knee came over the front. Now on the look for an Albion K2 after having the saddler out.

Ah ok, are you quite tall? Can I ask what type of horse it didn't fit? Thought it might be like a pessoa but obviously not...
