ERM bit confused?

Hi,
Decided to put my horse into a double bridle. But bit confused to what reins i should have because the normal rubber ones are a bit to big to have in your hands when you have 2 sets.

Thinner ones

I usually use plaited for the curb rein and plain for the snaffle as then I know instantly which is which.

I use jeffries biogrip rubber reins for the snaffle as its grippy and not too big- do lots of workers so its sometimes raining when showing!. and plain leather for curb
other options,
laced snaffle or half rubber

LOL! I use the opposite! Plaited or rubber(unless showing) for the snaffle and thin plain for the curb!

I use Lemetex reins for the snaffle - rubber but very supple and a bit narrower and easy in your hands and a plain leather for the curb. Don't worry - you will soon get the hang of it
