This lovely lady has come to join our family this evening.

Her name is Daisy and I’m totally in love already.

Husband got in from work this evening and was casually browsing dogs for sale (after a brief conversation we had this afternoon about getting Jezza a companion) and her advert popped up, it had been posted less than 5 mins.
I’ve always wanted a border terrier so we called immediately, and 20 mins later set out for an hour and a half drive to pick her up.
Currently on our way home with her now!

Well we are home now! She travelled beautifully. Though i think she is totally shattered.

Jezza our beagle greeted her and so far we have only had one growl from him and it was rather half hearted.

She is 6yrs old, really sweet and came from a lovely gent who was going through a rather hard time and just didn't have time to do anything with her.

This is her right now

Lucky Daisy. I hope she settles quickly and has a happy life with you. Her picture made me do a double take, she is the spitting image of our BT, Hooray Henry.
BT's are amazing, brilliant dogs.

My parents have acquired two border terriers in similar circumstances, new homes required for them through no fault of their own. Both were the dearest little dogs you could wish for. Daisy looks lovely. Good luck with her, I am quite envious!

We had a border terrier as a family dog when I was a child and she was the sweetest thing ever. Mischievous, affectionate, very energetic, loyal and amazingly healthy. The only vet visits we had were for check ups and once she hung herself jumping a barbed wire fence and needed a few stitches. She lived till she was 18 and we still all miss her now.
Good luck with your lovely new girl, she looks very settled already bless her.

There have been so many BT going missing either lost or stolen I would suggest you get her chip checked at your vets just for piece of mind.
Ive been given all her microchip detail and all the forms to change it over to my name.
I didnt pay a penny for her at all

She has got such an adorable face, her poor owner, bet it broke his heart having to give her up. Sweetens the pain knowing she's gone to a fantastic home but I can't imagine his grief.

She is a sweetie! I do love your Beagle though!

Thankyou, Jezza (the beagle) is awsome, he's 8 yrs old now, he is about the only beagle I know of that actually recalls, is very obedient and never wrecks the house. The worst we have had from him is him getting into the dog food bucket (how he got the lid off I don't know) and eating everything in the bucket. He is walked mainly off lead (only on lead next to roads) as he is such a good boy.

I also have a good Beagle, never wrecks the house and will re call :) I can't leave a floor bin in the kitchen as he will get into it. But will leave everything else alone.

Glad there is more than just mine who is a good boy! The beagle facebook groups would have you believe that they are all unholy terrors that destroy houses and terrorise thier owners.

We have a babygate on our kitchen to prevent him getting into any of the bins (we have several as we have to split up recylcing) but he has full run of the rest of the house when we are out
