Not sure about the Dinky rugs, but all other small pony rugs still seem to be ridiculously deep. I got a Masta foal rug for small native pony last winter, it fitted very well.

Yeah it might well do, the dinky rugs are quite expensive (we're a rescue centre so cheaper is better )

She doesn't need it right now (or she shouldn't since it's meant to be summer!), just before the winter really so will keep an eye out for sales and things too.

Our donkey has a foal rug, its a bit short on his bum but donkeys are a different shape to ponies/foals. He also has a thicker turnout which I got off ebay.

Would need to measure her properly, but that one in the pictures is 4ft9 so I'd guesstimate about 3ft8-4ft but I'm not too good with distances

I did think of dog rugs, but she's not terribly small and I don't think they'd be much cheaper so might as well buy a little horse one.

My shetlands vary from 4ft6in to 5ft for my big adult shetlands and I have trouble with the neck holes being too big. Weatherbeata Landa rugs fit very well, for the youngsters I either get Weatherbeata foal rugs for the Masta Checktech Foal rugs. Again, these fit well and trust me - I have been through EVERY single rug manufacturer to find some that fit well. Robinsons rugs I find lack depth and are slightly short of length.

I don't go to dinkyrugs because again, I find them lacking in depth and substance to live up to a shetland pony. They are more made for minature shetlands and mini horses.

I have a standard and a full neck lightweight turn out from Dinky rugs and for the price I wasn't impressed. They lack quality, the chest straps feel flimsy and there are no keepers to push the excess strap through. They lack substance imo. Find weatherbeeta very good, robinsons do a pony range but they come in awful patterns, new range isn't bad though. Cuddly ponies were amazing but not being made anymore, such a shame as they're like gold dust to find now! Did manage to get a standard and full neck heavyweight 4'3 stable rugs for £15 each off Equestrian clearance though!
