Thanks for posting this, I'd been wondering whether these might suit my mare. But there are 2 ingredients at least which surprise me a bit: skimmed milk powder? And tomato? I thought tomatoes were hazardous to horses, can't for the life of me think what place it has in a horse feed?

thanks very helpful!

I think the website lists grass as a main ingredient, but their helpline staff told me its alfalfa?.... Apparently the vegetables are added for their vitamin content and to help make the feed palletable as there is no molasses in it. Milk powder is good for weight gain. Our horses all love it and do well on it.

well just to ad to the mix ive received an email from DandH which list these as the ingredients-Wheatfeed, Oatfeed, Alfalfa, Unmolassed Sugar Beet, Distiller's Wheat Grains, Vegetable Oil, Dehulled Soya Bean Meal, Fructose, Full Fat Linseed, Full Fat Soya, Limestone Flour, Salt (1.0%), Skimmed Milk Powder, Vitamin/Trace Mineral Premix, Calcium Gluconate, Blackcurrant, Kale, Spinach, Beetroot, Rosemary, Rosehip, Pomegranate (0.1%), Sodium Bicarbonate

They have definitely changed the ingredients within the last year - when I first noted down the ingredients the list was the same as Black Beastie posted (with grass as main ingredient), but having checked my most current bags that has now changed to alfalfa. Plus they have dropped tomato extract but have a wider range of other fruit/veg extracts.
