ERS/RER diagnosis - have you had one?

Was wondering if anyone has had a solid diagnosis from a vet for ERS/RER? If so what tests did the vet do to reach this conclusion?

I have 2 with PSSM. One has had mild tie ups confirmed by bloods the other appears non symptomatic. It might be worth cross posting this in the Tack room - there are others with PSSM & I've seen at least one poster who has a horse with RER

Not diagnosed for PSSM2 as my vet is useless and hasn't even heard of it. PSSM1 negative by hair test. Self diagnosed!!

Friends horse was diagnosed with RER after a muscle biopsy of his hamstring that showed torn and inflamed fibres.
