i have been watching escape to the country and they were going round an RSPCA centre, and in there they had retired police horses and retired carriage of wait for it the queen. you would thing both would have enough money to ensure there horses are well cared for after they finish there service.
it annoys me because there are genuine welfare case that need help but centre are full. i'm not saying they shouldn't help them but i feel that the services should make sure they are able to provide a suitable home for them after they have finished service. not dumping them on the already over burden charities.
