Those of you that use them, how do you secure your lambskin underlay to an ANKY pad with no girth straps at the top? Or do you not? Does it still stay put?

I've just bought the lambskin underlay for the worlds thinnest skinned horse (ginger tb) and previously haven't been able to use my anky pad as the ridges marked her back so really hoping you lovely HHOers can shed some light :)

Works fine

Never shifts.

Nope. Folded over the front and it just stays put. The anky pad is longer than the underlay though, so if the back of the pad rubbed your horses back, then it still will. The back seam used to rub a bald patch on her thin tb skin even with the underlay. Ended up with a mattes platinum halfpad under my saddle and nothing else so sheepskin still on her skin - that was the key
