they only seem to come in size pony or full. i have a 14.2hh ISH what size do you think will fit best?

My friend borrows mine for her 14.1 welsh pony (fairly short cannon bones), they are full size and fit fine

Full size should fit fine. Lots of choice here, including extra protection from gel padding and sheepskin lining for sensitive skin. You could also consider Dalmar boots.
