Is anyone interested in meeting up for some XC schooling and/or lessons in the new year?

I was thinking of Chilham, Poplar, Eridge (possibly Stanford Rivers). I have lessons with a BE accredited trainer who would run group lessons for us.

Let me know if you're interested and suggestions as to venues/trainers are welcome!

Ok thanks. I think Chilham is meant to be open all year round and it's a nice course, so I guess that would be my first choice.

Just to let you know that John Bowen will be running a x country clinic on the 2nd Jan near Newmarket. Don't know if any spaces but PM me and I can give you his details to ask. Course is really nice private yard with great facilites on sandy soil.

I would as I’m in Kent, however I could never be called an Eventer as riding my cob, happy up to 2ft9-3ft. Please let me know when something is arranged?

We run clinics through the riding club in essex (Ingatestone and Blackmore) start at 2ft 3 and go to 3ft 6 first one is end of feb / begining of march. If anyone would like details please PM me

Count us in ! We are Stowmarket/ Bury St Eds/ Sudbury way.

Anything Intro / Pre Novice level would be great. Pref weekend as hubby works and has no leave left !

Hello

I lurk here sometimes but rarely post.... but I saw this and got really excited about the prospect of someone to train with!

I'm down in Kent so Chilham is nice and close, as is Lodge Farm (Matfield).... there are also some other pretty good places I know, such as Warren Barn Farm (Woldingham - J6 on M25), plus one or two others.

Would be great to have some company........ in fact, if anyone's up for it, come the spring, Lucy Thompson could be asked to do clinics at Matfield.

Do let me know if anyone's up for doing anything.

I'm affiliating BE with my new lad this new year so very excited!

Great, thanks for the replies. I will PM you with some suggested dates at some stage - seems like a few of us would like other people to go schooling/have lessons with.

Once the season starts I will also be trying to find people to travel to events with, as BF/non-horsey friends will only be willingly dragged round a limited number of them!
