Essex Riding School Recommendation?

I am currently looking to have a single lesson at a riding school to brush up on my skills and to remind myself I'm not a complete numpty

I want somewhere that isn't too expensive and that offers semi-private lessons (as in me and a friend or two). I'm near southend/benfleet but if I can get there by public transport it would be fab

Burches in Thundersley is a good one and the only one I know of near by there. Can you not have a lesson up at Jotmans, if you have a horse to ride that is.

I have a horse but no saddle or transport

I don't mind travelling further

Burches maximum weight is 13st and I am just over :/

Hockley equestrian down church road is also good. Not far from Hockley woods
My daughter learnt there, lovely people and good choice of horses!
