I really should know this....
I was under the impression that when there are more than one of you in the ring be it in the school/collecting ring whatever, yoou should pass a horse and rider coming the opposite way left hand to left hand. That's what I have done up till now and never had any problem but maybe I have just been in the ring with some very forgiving people.
My YO insists that it's right to right. We've had some interesting head on's down the long side. He is insisting it's right to right.
Was just reading a post about what side to hold rein loops and it prompted me to ask.
Oh my god, I hope i've not been going the wrong way all these years. I'm almost sure I haven't but he has sown the seed of doubt now.
