As the title says, looking for recommendations for a riding holiday in Europe (next year, anytime) that covers both dressage ( PSG and above), plus trail riding. PLUS staying on site - this last request is the stumbling block as I have found holidays offering both training and trail (Epona) but not staying on site. Guess I am fussy.... Thanks in anticipation and appreciation.

There's a place called Son Menut where you can stay on site. I'm not sure about the level of dressage https://www.sonmenut.com/en/aboutus

The Lusitanos Riding Centre https://www.lusitanosridingcentre.com/en/ also has accommodation on site but I don't think they do trail rides.

A few of my friends have been to Corijo Uribe for lessons and trail rides, and again the accommodation is on site. They weren't after PSG dressage but did enjoy their lessons. It could be worth an enquiry there to see if they can cater to your level.

I've not heard great reviews from real-life friends on Epona though I know many people rave about it on forums and FB. Monte Velho seems to wow everyone I know who has been, it would be top of my list if I was looking!

Quinta dos Pinheiros in Portugal is amazing - that has all private lessons and the hacking is great too, but it can be hard to get booked in as they are so busy and run mobile trail rides as well.

Then Monte Velho, also in Portugal, as others have said. Hacks are only around 1.5 hours and their main strength is in the lessons but they do trot and canter on the rides out and the estate and its surrounds are lovely. It's all on site with very comfortable accommodation (pool, jacuzzi, bikes) and it's not too far from Lisbon. Standard programme is 6 nights but you can do a shorter break too.

I will also throw in Quinta Do Rol into the mix, does dressage, working equitation and hacking. It is also on a vineyard so the wine is amazing! Beautiful surrounds, swimming pool etc. And not too far from the coast so can do beach rides too.

This is Quinta dos Pinheiros, just so OP knows is the same 😌
I would also recommend here.
I did a 5 or 6 day trail and spent another few days at the farm doing dressage but I believe it is possible to mix and match a bit more as well.
The trail horses were the best schooled I have ever ridden by miles (you could canter along sandy tracks out on the trail practicing your changes, and we occasionally broke into random Quadrilles!)
The lesson horses were fantastic, generous (but not too generous!) - and importantly for me, all the horses got lots of paddock time and were happy and exceptionally well looked after.

The accommodation is really nice, I had a lovely room overlooking the pool.
The food is excellent (don't go expecting to lose weight!) and there is a really nice family feel to meal times and down time.
It is super close to Lisbon for travelling too.
