Which insurer covers for taking a horsebox abroad for a few weeks?

I would like to go to away over xmas and take my horse with me but don't have my own box, so the hire guy suggested taking out insurance cover for 4 weeks or so. Not sure if any company would do that though. I always thought that they charge you per year...?

If you are hireing surely its up to the hire people to arrange suitable cover not you!!!?? they need to ring their broker and ask about cover for use outside the UK maybe the policy aready covers it or could for an extra premium?? ...

Yes, they have done that but it would be £35 per day. Which comes up to more than £700 for 3 weeks away. Thats as much as an annual insurance isnt it?
