These are the first round scores.. Ireland are currently in 2nd place on 6 faults, then I think its Belgium on 9, so Britain are in a strong position!

Yep! The Brits have won! Quite a tally of gold medals over the years!

It's an amazing record that GB has in the Pony Europeans. Gets harder when the riders get older as not so many countries take pony jumping so seriously - they tend to have children jumping horses earlier than here. And for example, Ludo Philippaerts's twin sons who will be 14 next month are both in Belgium's pony team, but regularly compete on horses as well.

Agree with above posting. I compete abroad and sometimes see young, I mean, I Think ,about 11 or 12 years olds, on horses in classes of about 1.10m. They do very well.I will ask today, as I am off jumping in a bit.
