I am currently on the hunt for a young dressage horse but struggling to find the right one.
I am considering going to the European Sports Horse Auction (ESHA) in The Netherlands and importing one back to the UK but would like to know more about it from people who have done something similar in the past.
I am interested in anything anyone can tell me (good or bad) as I want to go into this with my eyes wide open.
I have had a good look on the website to get an idea of what is available and there seems to be a few of interest but would like to know more about the whole process including potential to trial before the auction, language barriers, payment arrangements, pricing in comparison to similar horses being sold in the UK by young horse producers, logistics of importing back to the UK, etc.
