I can't help thinking its a bit of a kick in the teeth for everyone who has paid full price tbh. Just shows how disappointing the turn out would have been otherwise.

I'm guessingthey are keen to fill seats due to the tv coverage - empty stands do not look great.

a well supported event will also demonstate public interest in the sports - never a bad thing with continuing olympic reviews.

i've already paid full price for seats at the Kur, but supporrt what the organisers are doing to fill up the stands

When we looked ages ago for the dressage over the weekend, there was no car parking left which was not exactly encouraging on the buying expensive tickets front and a bit poor really. The train from where we live was not an option.

I think the tickets should have been cheaper in the first place,

We've gone on the cheap day and still expencive, would have filled the seats better if they were cheaper like football or cricket tickets

I would think it would be possible to park at the station carpark(Windsor and Eton Riverside) which is pretty close to the entrance to the show anyway. May well be cheaper than the £10 parking in the field, but i havent checked.

We booked a restaurant in Eton for a meal before the Saturday performance - thought we'd probably get better food and cheaper than in the show itself, and then it is just a walk across the road to start watching the kur. Should all be very civilised:-)

There should also be parking at Windsor Central train station and that's only a 10min walk to the show ground
