I know, Ian Stark did mention it so like he said, maybe they tried a martingale in the past and the horse wouldn't have it. I hate to say it but you could almost see a mistake coming because the horse was fighting the rider so much. Thankfully he had an air jacket and the horse as ok [I was really worried coz it looked like he landed on his neck =O]

You have a point jcberry, the first French faller way way ehind and had definitely started to chase the time. The second [chesnut] seemed to be in a nice [if fast] rhythm throughout.

yes, both of them were going a bit (too) fast imo, just didnt look overly safe. but heyho im not an international event rider so what do i know?!

I think william is a good example, he is certainly going fast but theres more of an air of controll around him. I think the french team briel would have been interesting to listen to!

Shock about air jordan though!
