I'm SO sick of all this MUD!
The Grey One isn't too bad, he has rolled a couple of times, but nothing massively bad. BUT, he's decided he doesn't like his legs being washed.
That's fine, he's a baby, he's only being a squirmy baby about it, and to be fair, he's been left to be feral for a good 2 months now, what with me being a cripple 'n all. But tonight he learned how to snap baler twine *sigh*
Again, not too worried, a lunge line through the tie ring and holding onto the other end fixed that (though I challenge anyone to try hosing/scrubbing legs whilst on crutches and holding the end of a lunge line at the same time!!!)
But The Brown One....UGH! Seriously, I know people always say they have the filthiest horse in the world, but TBO is in a differnt league/world/UNIVERSE to any horse I've ever met when it comes to rolling.
Luckily he's an angel to be cleaned, and stands perfectly still even with a crippled owner flailing around and hanging off his rug!
It's going to take a warm day, and a lot of soap and water - and probably not a crippled owner, to get The Brown One clean.
I gave up in the end.
So I have a clean Grey One, and a half cleaned/sludgey Brown One.
I HATE Winter
