EVA mats moving around the stable

We’ve got some lovely lightweight EVA rubber mats. They are really soft and I think the horses like them, BUT – they move! Every morning I have to put them back in place, does anyone have any tips for keeping them where they are supposed to be (i.e. not piled 3 high!). Or may be the mare likes a soft pillow!

i had this they need to fit snug but if too tight will lift and move over time they will spread and need trimming, i put heavy bedding on top which stopped them moving now i only use a small bed
