Can anyone on this forum give me details of a vet. wholesaler in UK who supplies this vaccine?

It cost £400 to have my stallion vaccinated in France as the vaccine had to be made specially. He is due a second jab in May and I am told the UK cost is £60.

My French Vet practice will buy it I am just looking for a supplier. I have surfed but come up with lots of suppliers who don't have this vaccine.

NVS but they will sell you direct. Ask your french vet to apply for a "special import certificate". but even then this will not guarantee its acceptance for use.

cant see why its 400. think someone is taking the p***
 
Taking the p*** possibly. I gave up trying to get a foaling alarm in France. Then my local agric. merchant had a 'promotion' cost 1100 euros!! UK price 350-450 sterling.

Wormers are twice the price in France but vet call out and farrier are cheaper, so is hay and straw.

One of the benefits of EU?

Artevac is a POM-V so NVS shouldn't supply direct to owner
