So after the excitement of dressage yesterday, today we went to the riding club show at Warren farm, with Emerald and Donut (friends horse). We queued up for the WH clear round but gave up after 10 mins and decided to jump a couple more in the SJ collecting ring with Em, he worked in great so decided to go straight into the class. He was a bit overwhelmed by the ring and after a wobble we set off to the first fence, which he jumped about 5 foot over, he was then unbalanced so I pulled him up and circled and set off to the next one, and continued around the course without a fault. So the wee man went to his first ever SJ course in his life at a show and only got 4 faults
. Then onto Donut who gave me the shock of my life yesterday at the dressage he was an absolute star flew round the course and won
.
All in all a good weekend to be me!
Next on the intinery is one day event next Saturday at Warren Farm and then hopefully some hunter trials
