Even if Cobs are not your thing....I bet he makes you drool

I can't say cobs are my thing as a rule, but as far as beautiful animals is concerned he is truly beautiful - and very unusual.

I am a cob person but actually I don't like him, sorry. Pretty colour but nothing really special I don't think. I prefere the coloured cobs. His mane and tail aren't massively impressive either.

I love cobs and own one, his colour is spectacular I had never seen this colouration before, but as a horse (conformation and movement) I wouldn't look twice if it wasn't for the colour.

Says he's tested homozygous so what mares are they using to not pass on the colouring? Bizarre.

he is Homozygous black, which means he doesnt have the red gene. His colouring is due to his silver gene. He is HETEROZYGOUS silver so may not pass the silver onto his foals unless a homozygous silver mare was used :)

He is the same colour as Inky believe it or not :) Its just Inky looks different as he is mainly always clipped. Inky not clipped...

Inky has a rather big ahem for such a little chap :P

All of those hairy beasties make me long to use clippers and turn them into proper riding cobs..Show Style. How much better to be able to see their shoulders and have a lovely narrow pulled tail on the back of that ample bottom.

He's a lovely colour! I am not generally a fan of the chunkier horse, but was at Royal Winsor yesterday to watch all the M&M classes and saw a couple of stunning Sec Ds that could have turned me!!
