Ive recently joined my local BHS committe and was thinking about trying to arrange some evening talks from local professionals.
I was thinking about hiring a village hall and asking local instructor / saddle fitter / pilates instructor / barefoot trimmer / farrier etc to come and do talks.
Would people be intereted and what type of things would you want to hear?
Would you prefer a selection of short talks or 1 long one?
Would you be willing to pay 50p donation towards village hall hire?
Would you want some kind of refreshments?
Would you buy raffle tickets?
Any ideas / suggestions / things to avoid / essentials greatly appreciated
