Suppose you could take your horse away for three or four days for intensive training with a top event rider, who would you choose?
(preferably within 150 miles of the South West!)
Will they all be too busy during the season or do some train riders all year round?
(not bothered about the dressage side of things, we have that covered)
Any suggestions welcomed..

NO, I said EVENT TRAINING, not fun and games between the sheets....

I could but wish - he'd run a mile!!

I read your OP wrong, thought you meant for your daughter,( shows you how thick I am!) so I'd still go for him or Starky I think because I like their attitudes and skills. - and read that whichever way you like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

Well she's nearest but not sure how much time anyone there has to spare, we really need to be jumping some bigger fences under tuition and help SJ. Plus I reckon being on a busy yard is a good idea, it's very lonely training here on your own. (don't suppose you fancy coming over to ride sometime do you?)
We have sent the four year old over for backing so no doubt will be riding it up there pretty soon, but as a treat I thought a few days training would be fun..

You might find it difficult to find a time she is there for a few days but Caroline Creighton would be my recommendation she is a brillant trainer. We went up for 4 days in Feb and it was brillant.
